Mission Statement
We at Brass Balls Radio wish to educate you about an important issue facing mankind. This affects every man, woman and child, whether they live in the affluent west or in Third World isolation.
Ethanol.
Ethanol is a bio-fuel made from corn. The Iowa Conspiracy™ has plugged this product as the next great thing in energy. We here at Brass Balls Radio must dispel Iowa myths about Ethanol.
The Hard Science
It takes a gallon of dirty oil to produce a gallon of clean ethanol. There is no benefit to the use of ethanol when that is the case.
The cost of corn for human and animal consumption has increased as corn has become more scarce. They oil industry is willing to pay a premium on corn, so farmers are growing it for the oil companies to the exclusion of the food market. This has made other cheap grains – like wheat and rice – go up in price as well, as people turn in greater number to this alternate source of food.
The Unintended Consequences
With the price of grains going up, it means that aid packages we send to Third World countries are more expensive. We are sending less, and people are starving. All this so that the Global Warming elitists and the Iowa Conspiracy™ can glean a few extra dollars out of the driving population of the West. How is this fair, I ask?
Students and movie theaters are also feeling the pinch. The price of popcorn kernels has more than trebled in the last 10 years. This puffy, delightful snack is becoming less of an option to those on a budget.
Moreover, even Second World countries are elbowing in on the money to be made. Mexican farmers are no longer planting valuable agave crops, choosing instead to plant lucrative corn for the oil companies. This is a serious global health issue that must be addressed.
Agave is the cactus that produces the nectar that makes tequila.
Tequila is mixed with lime juice to make a margarita.
The lime juice in the margarita prevents scurvy.
Without the tequila, no one would drink the lime juice.
Without margaritas, people will die of scurvy.
Do you want scurvy to plague your towns and cities? Is that fair to families that rely on the agave to get their scurvy-repelling Vitamin C? Scurvy is a 17th century scourge that was wiped out thanks to the agave and lime concoction. Now that health benefit is threatened, all so that the Iowa Conspiracy™ and Big Oil™ can control the corn market.
We at Brass Balls Radio cannot allow this to happen! We are saying NO to the Iowa Conspiracy™, NO to the higher price of popcorn, and NO to scurvy.
